Getting help
The fastest way to reach the App One team is the in-app
Feedback tool (open your Profile and choose Feedback). Reports
arrive with enough context to investigate quickly, and it works for
bugs, questions, and feature requests alike.
Accounts and sign-in
-
Who can register: students at the supported schools —
MIT, Harvard, CMU, Stanford, and Wellesley — register with their
school email address; everyone else can register under “Others” with
any email address. Registration is confirmed with a one-time code
sent to your email.
-
Forgot your password? Use “Forgot password?” on the
sign-in screen to receive a reset code by email.
-
Changing your email or password: both are available
in the app under Profile.
-
Deleting your account: go to
Profile → Account → Delete account. Deletion is
permanent and removes your data as described in the
Privacy Policy. If you can no longer sign in,
contact us through a friend's Feedback tool or reply to any App One
verification email you received.
The app looks stale or broken
If the website or installed app seems stuck on an old version, open the
cache repair page once. It clears cached
copies on your device and returns you to a fresh session. Your account
and data are not affected.
The iOS app
The App One iOS app signs in to the same account and shows the same
workspace as app.app-one.org.
Anything you do in one place is reflected in the other.
Security reports
If you believe you have found a security issue, please report it
promptly through the in-app Feedback tool and mention “security” so it
is triaged first. Please do not test against other people's accounts or
data.
